Im Schwabenforum beschäftigen sich einige User mit der hochwertigen Aufarbeitung von 6V Tachos speziell für die Honda Dax. Besonders Gerhard, Spitzname” Athener”, ist ein echter Tachomane. Er war es schließlich, der mich auf die Idee gebracht hat, eine einfache Öltemperaturüberwachung für den Einsatz in unseren Motoren zu bauen.
Ziel war eine einfache, günstige und dabei zuverlässige Lösung einer optischen Öltemperaturüberwachung mit LED Anzeige. Mit fachlicher Unterstützung eines mir bekannten Elektronikers habe ich eine Schaltung entwickelt und zu Testzwecken diese mehrfach auf Lochrasterplatine aufgebaut. Immer wieder wurden kleine Veränderungen vorgenommen, Ergebnisse gemessen und die Schaltung optimiert. Im Testlabor in der heimischen Küche wurde dann tagelang mit erhitztem Salatöl hantiert, sodaß das ganze Haus immer noch nach Fritten-Bude! riecht. Als Ergebnis wurde darauf das Platinenlayout am PC erstellt und anschließend der Auftrag zum professionellen Ätzen der Platinen erteilt.
Bereits 6 Wochen nach Start des Projektes hatte ich die erste Serienschaltung aufgebaut – der HOC (Hot-Oil-Control) war geboren. Realisiert habe ich das Produkt mit einem Fensterkomparator und einer Kippstufe. Die Funktion ist dabei wie folgt: die Duo-LED leuchtet Gelb bei Öltemperaturen bis 60°C und blinkt Rot ab 120°C. Eingebaut in einem Tacho oder als LED im Blickfeld hat man immer die Betriebstemperatur im Auge, ohne sich immer wieder nach einem Ölmessstab-Thermometer strecken muss! Neben mehr Komfort bringt das jedem ein Plus an Verkehrsicherheit. Bei einem Sensordefekt oder Kabelbruch in der Sensorleitung blinkt die LED ebenfalls Rot. Im Augenblick arbeite ich gerade an einem selbstständigem Check, bei dem die rote LED bei jeder Inbetriebnahme automatisch für wenige Sekunden getestet wird. Auch das schafft mehr Sicherheit, da die Funktion definiert: Gute Fahrt – alle System in Ordnung.
Als Temperatursensor kommt ein hochpräziser PT1000 Platinsensor mit einer Toleranz von 0,1% und den Maßen 50 x 6 mm zum Einsatz. Dieser verkraftet Temperaturen bis 200°C – eine Temperatur bei der unsere Motoren längst im Motoren-Himmel sind. Nicht nur für Fahrzeuge mit 6V Bordspannung, sondern gerade auch für Fahrzeuge ohne Batterie, die oftmals durch Tuning an das Temperatur-Limit gehen, kann ich eine Lösung anbieten Gerade bei der Variante ohne Batterie ist es nötig, die LiMa-Spannung zu glätten – also quasi eine Batterie zu simulieren.
Serienmäßig wird die Schaltung mit jeweils 1 m Zuleitung für die Spannungsversorgung, 1 m LED-Kabel sowie dem Sensorkabel mit etwa 1,40 Meter Länge aufgebaut und anschließend in einem schwarzen Kunststoffgehäuse in Gussharz vergossen. Der Anschluß ist denkbar einfach: Die schwarze GND-Leitung an Masse, die rote Zuleitung an Zündungs +12V/6V. Die Stromaufnahme im Betrieb beträgt nur wenige mAh und kann durch jede Lima bereit gestellt werden.
Anbei Bilder meiner Lösung den Sensor zu verbauen. Ich habe einen Adapter gedreht, welcher den Peilstab ersetzt und den Sensor eingegossen hat. Steckbar verbunden, ist der Sensor mit einem hochwertigen Initiatorenkabel, welches die Schutzklasse IP67 erfüllt und somit unanfällig gegen Feuchtigkeit, Öl und Kraftstoff ist. Auf Wunsch kann ich auch Initiatorenkabel in verschiedenen Ausführungen für die Realisierung eigener Projekte anbieten. Sonderwünsche wie das Ablängen des Sensorkabels vor dem Verlöten und Vergießen auf das gewünschte Maß sind nach Rücksprache möglich. Es gibt aber noch unzählige andere Möglichkeiten, den Sensor zu plazieren. Es kann auch jeder andere Temperatursensor angeschlossen werden – einzige Bedingung: es muß ein PT1000 sein.

Das HOC in der einfachen Variante mit direkt aufgelötetem Temperatur-Sensor und funktionsfähig aufgebaut ist für 50,00 Euro zzgl. 6,00 Euro Versand innerhalb Deutschland, andere Länder auf Anfrage, nur beim Tüftler und Erbauer Christian Andritzky im Direkterwerb erhältlich. Andere Varianten wie mit gedrehtem Peilstabfühler mit steckbarem Sensorkabel auf Anfrage.
