Crash Test Dummy

Beeskow (onlydax)Wenn der Sohn mit seiner Freundin im Zimmer steht und fragt: “Papa, können wir mal dein Moped sehen?”, dann will man natürlich auch die gerade frisch aus der Werkstatt mit ein paar Modifikationen versehene Honda Dax gerne zeigen. Also aufgestanden und das Moped herausgeholt.
Ahh, schön! Ohhh, wie niedlich und ähnliche Kommentare sind einem ja bei diesen Anlässen immer sicher. Die folgende Szene spielte sich dann Sonntagsnachmittag vor unserem Haus wie aus dem Drehbuch einer Slapstick-Kommödie ab.
Die Dax sprang beim ersten Kick an und angenehm blubberte der Motor als Untermalung die Vorstellung von Papa’s Moped. Nun ist die Freundin meines Sohnes auch gleichzeitig die Tochter eines Vaters, der eine Moto Guzzi LeMans sein eigen nennt und damit hielt sich die Begeisterung auch in einem vertretbaren Rahmen. Eine kleine Fahrprobe sollte die Vorstellung der Dax beenden und so schwang ich mich auf das Minibike. Erster Gang eingelegt und die ersten 5 Meter gemächlich angefahren, zweimal den Ganghebel nach unten betätigt und munteres Ziehen am Gasgriff sollte ein wenig von der Beschleunigung der Kleinen zeigen. Leider blieb am natürlich original belassenem Gasgriff der Bowdenzug hängen oder die Rückholfeder war ausgeleiert oder oder oder… Kurzum: Papa schoß voran, das Vorderrad ging hoch, der Gasgriff nicht mehr zurück, der Schreck in die Glieder, die Fußspitze nicht zum Auskuppeln und in Windeseile stieg der 95 Kilo Mann vom niedlichen Moped ab.
Die Dax schlug rechts und links an parkenden Autos vorbei auf die Strasse auf und blieb erschöpft nach 10 Metern auf der Seite liegen. Klar, dass der zuverlässige Motor weiter lief! Nachdem ich mich dann aufgerappelt hatte und ein leichtes Brennen an Armen und Oberschenkel verspürte, peilte ich mit einem Rundumblick die allgemeine Lage. Nicht nur mein Sohn mit Freundin starrten entgeistert zu mir, auch unser Nachbarn, unbekannte Passanten und die höchste Instanz von allen: meine Ehefrau, die uns anscheinend vom Fenster zugesehen hatte. Oh Sch….e!
Die Moral von der G’schicht – zeig dein Moped der Freundin deines Sohnes nicht. In diesem Sinn gute Fahrt!
