Sitzbank Transformation

Für das CB50 Flattracker-Projekt ist mir die Sitzbank einer Kawasaki GPZ zugeflogen. Natürlich viel zu groß, aber das Heck hatte genau die Form einer Knight-Flattracker-Bank. Mit Säge und Heißluftfön wurde die Bank nach dem Motto: Was nicht paßt wird passend gemacht, auf das Maß der CB50 gebracht.
Heute ist dann der Bezug durch Bernd’s kundige Hand (Danke nochmals!) aufgezogen worden. Schwarz und mit rutschfestem Design ist der Bezug jetzt auf dem bearbeiteten Schaumstoffkern und der verschweißten PP-Grundplatte fest getackert worden. Erst grob fixieren und dann mühevoll mit Lösen und Nachziehen in Form gebracht. Bis auf ein paar Stellen, die ich hätte noch etwas besser vorbereiten sollen, ist das Ergebnis genau nach meinen Wünschen geworden! Bei der nächsten Bank weiß ich worauf ich beim Schaumstoff achten muß, Tip: Glätten. Glätten. Glätten!
