Der erste Monkey-Motor mit Motor-Management

Nach mittlerweile deutlich mehr als einem Jahr Entwicklung und Bauzeit, angefangen bei der ersten Idee bis hin zur lauffähigen Version, hat Klaus Dammermann von Monkey Power Tuning die erste Honda Monkey mit kompletten Motormanagement auf die Räder gestellt. Komplettes Motormanagement heisst dabei einschliesslich Lambda-Sonde und -Controlling, einem geregelten Katalysator und Kennfeldzündanlage.
Mit diesem Projekt hat Klaus Dammermann ganz sicher die Tür für die Entwicklung von Tuning-Maßnahmen für Motoren, die den gängigen EURO Normen entsprechen, weit aufgestoßen. Möglich wurde dies durch seine lange, mehr als 20-jährige Rennsport-Erfahrung, und die Zusammenarbeit mit Ingenieuren und Elektronikern, die dieses Projekt mit Idealismus und Begeisterung für die Sache unterstützt haben. Entstanden ist ein Motor, der eigentlich so aus einer grossen Schmiede kommen sollte – und jetzt glücklicherweise in Marl quasi vor der Haustür für Fans vielleicht bald zur Verfügung stehen wird.
Noch einige Angaben zum Motor im Detail:
- Drosselklappenteil 28 mm Mikuni, USA
- Einspritzdüse speziell für Einzylinder, Japan
- Benzinpumpe und Druckregler aus Deutschland
- frei programmierbares Steuergerät für Motormanagement incl. Zündtreibern, Made in Germany
Das Motormanagement ist mittlerweile kurz vor der Vollendung und zur Abstimmung auf einem lastabhängigen Prüfstand speziell für Motorräder. Darauf werden sämtliche Kennfelder abgestimmt und programmiert. Insgesamt sind 18 Kennfelder dabei zu programmieren und optimieren. Das verspricht noch ein paar heisse Stunden auf dem Prüfstand zu werden. Zu besichtigen sein wird die 1. Monkey mit kompletten Motormanagement auch bei der Hausmesse der Monkey Garage am 14.11.2009! Einen TV Bericht im lokalen fernsehen gab es mittlerweile auch, zu sehen auf www.wmtv-online.de unter dem Titel Marler baut Mini-Motorräder
